Furlough extended to employees on the payroll at 19th March 2020
Employers can claim for furloughed employees that were employed and on their PAYE payroll on or before 19 March 2020.
This means that the employee must have been notified to HMRC through an RTI submission notifying payment in respect of that employee on or before 19 March 2020.

A one off grant of £10,000 to all businesses in England currently eligible for Small Business Rate Relief or Rural Rate Relief
100% business rates relief for all businesses in the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors regardless of size.
Companies with a rateable value of less than £51,000 will be eligible for a cash grant of up to £25,000.00 – further details to be released.
Statutory Sick Pay will be recoverable by employers who are small or medium sized (less than 250 employees) and will be reclaimable
for two weeks per employee that has been off due to Covid 19. Details as to how to claim the refund have not yet been released.
A temporary Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme will be launched to help small businesses access bank lending and overdrafts
